Dr. Lorel Burns spent her childhood in Nashville, TN before relocating to Philadelphia to attend the University of Pennsylvania for her undergraduate studies. She then moved to New York City to pursue her DDS degree at the New York University College of Dentistry. Dr. Burns' interest in specializing in endodontics led her back to Philadelphia for her postgraduate endodontic training at the University of Pennsylvania School of Dental Medicine.

Currently, Dr. Burns is a board-certified endodontist by the American Board of Endodontics, the highest certification an endodontist can achieve. She is also a faculty member at NYU College of Dentistry. Dr. Burns is thrilled to be back in New York and in her free time, she enjoys reading, exploring different cuisines as a foodie, and hiking.
